Pre-Mission
It's the normal fuss and cuss before THE Mission (Texas - Houston East). A million things to get ready and no end to the spending. Clothes, bike, backpacks, rain-jacket, food, flags, pictures, haircut etc. Then add all the other things into the mix like yard work, family pictures, final vacation, cleaning out the room, etc. and the craziness doesn't end.
Ben is on his way out the door now. 8 days and he's gone. Emily is a wreck. I'm just sad to lose one of my best friends for 2 years. I still have 4 more little friends but it's the first to lose that makes it so tough. Feels like a part of me is being ripped out. Then again I know first hand what changes this brings into a young man for the better.
Time to get on with it.

Final Hurrah's
It's been a crazy 6 months full of final fun. Just too much to do so we are squeezing in every ounce. Flaming gorge last week seems to be the highlight so far.
Graduation from Davis for Ben was definitely a highlight as well as climbing all over Zions NP again.
